Some More S’Mores

I am a HUGE fan of S’mores.  Like Seriously.

Like – I will knock you down to get the last S’more.

I’m  not kidding.

Mom Bloggers Club emailed about the chance to win an awesome Ultimate S’mores Prize Pack in exchange for a post about my FAVORITE way to enjoy S’mores – and I said – Oh yeah, baby – COUNT ME IN!

Really – get out of my way!

My favorite way to eat S’mores is around a backyard campfire or bonfire.  It is.  That usually means lots of family or friends, old and new stories and a lot of laughing.  It’s been too long since I’ve done this!

I love toasting my marshmallows until they are just a tad crispy on the outside and totally GOOEY on the inside.  And smashing them between two graham crackers and TWO pieces of chocolate and letting it all combine together into

ONE. PERFECT. BITE.

(See there’s a science to it.  If your marshmallow is hot enough, it softens the chocolate, which acts like a glue, keeping the crackers from breaking apart all over the place – and you can get every delicious bite into your mouth.)

I told you I love S’mores…

That’s my favorite way to experience S’mores.

I’ve been known to toast the marshmallows over my gastop stove in a pinch.  And my girls don’t mind at all.

I’ve also been known to literally eat a half bag of marshmallows making S’mores during a camp out with friends.  But that’s a story to save for another day…
