Basically, when you sign up and log into your Swagbucks account, you can install a toolbar in your browser that allows you to use the search window as you normally would, ONLY you have the opportunity to rack up Swagbucks as you go.
For example, I entered a search term within the last 15 minutes – searching for a particular website – and I earned 25 Swagbucks, just for using the Swagbucks search window.
In the meantime, I’ve been racking up Swagbucks and will be able to trade them in for a nice little prize. I’ve already cashed in a few times for amazon.com ecards – so I could “buy” books that I’ve wanted. And I didn’t have to pay a penny – just went about my normal online activity using the Swagbucks portal.
I’ve been using Swagbucks for several months. The variety of ways to earn swagbucks is numerous, as is the variety of items that can be purchased in the Swag Store.
The only “con” I’ve run into is that occasionally I run into a snag with a slow server and get an error page, but I can usually refresh the window and get what I’m looking for then. It’s not that big of a deal considering the fact that I can earn gift cards for amazon.com, barnes & noble.com, and even paypal!
