When You Need a Break, You Take One
My overall goals for the year, the month, the week have not changed, but the need for my full attention and focus is required elsewhere this week. Even though my job is only part time, it has had a serious affect on my time and schedule and routines.
Not to mention the fact that the van engine overheated and we thought we were going to lose her.
Or that the same day, the washer quit working and I got WAY behind on Mt. Washmore. whew!
Sometimes, it is hard to lift up my voice and sing, but I continue to remind myself that when we praise Him, the enemy loses, so I’ve been singing:
This is the day (echo)
that the Lord hath made (echo)
I will rejoice (echo)
and be glad in it (echo)
this is the day that the Lord hath made
I will rejoice and be glad in it.
this is the day (echo)
this is the day that the Lord hath made. (Psalm 118:24)
It can be hard to lift up your head, but the Scripture says if we can but lift up our eyes up to the hills, our help comes from the Lord! (Psalm 121:1)
Not only has my schedule changed, which has a big impact in our way of life every day, but we are hot in the fire right now with things at home and in our family. I would truly appreciate your prayers lifted up on our behalf for the ability to praise Him and trust Him and remember that HE IS GOD.
I’ll be back next week.
