Writing and a Prayer Request
So. Notice anything different in your email today? (Only email subscribers should see this change.) Whaddya think? (I crave your feedback here, so slip on down to the comment section below and tell me what you think!!!)
I have been working to condense my look, my sites, my “brand” for a little while. For those of you who don’t blog or do much online – I’m trying to coordinate my online “wardrobe” as it were. Not having a lot of money to spend – and not wanting to SPEND a lot of money – I’ve been moving some things around and trying on some new outfits. Virtually speaking, that is.
And I’ve been able to expand my online writing as well. God really began putting on my heart a burden to write more about marriage and Bible study. I prayed over it because sometimes I worry that my whole writing thing is more about getting ME out there (and I’ll admit that sometimes it actually is) – than about really writing for His glory. I also know that family & friends read this blog so there are some things I have to walk carefully through as I write. Not for fear, but to avoid offense.
So I have to check myself and check my heart – and He opened two doors for me to start writing about these things. I’ve shared that with you – but wanted to link up to the posts here in case you had missed out on them.
Christian Stay at Home Moms
Christian Marriage: Trust God’s Promises
(I’ll have another post coming up there on October 30, too!)

Bible Study Method: Character Study
Before you think that I am just bragging, I’m really asking those of you who follow me regularly to consider saying a quick prayer for me (or for adding me to your regular prayers) because although I hope to ultimately bring glory to God here on my personal blog, these other sites are ministries that God has put on my heart. I want to stay focused on HIS message and share Him with others through these writings.
If you have just read this and haven’t been following me very long – especially if you are subscribed via RSS – you may want to consider changing your subscription to an email delivery. Part of my change online is to incorporate some special goodies offered only to email subscribers (for now) and eventually RSS subscribers too. It’s absolutely up to you – and believe me when I tell you that I subscribe to a variety of sites with my email or my RSS based upon my own needs and abilities. I get it – just wanted to give you fair warning that email subscribers will have access to some things that other subscribers may not.
In the meantime, I appreciate your prayers for these new ventures – and thank you again for reading what I write here and there…
